We are building a more agile and focused company. Today, we introduce a new structure for HBX Group. This change is deep. It is strategic. It is built for the future of travel. Our new model is organized around five dedicated business verticals. It is supported by a renewed Senior Management Team. And it is powered by a modern technology foundation. This is how we are strengthening our core.
The Blueprint: Five Vertical Divisions for a Focused Future
We have moved away from a generalized structure. Our operations are now organized into five distinct business verticals. Each one is a pillar of our strategy. Each has full accountability for its performance and customer success.
Think of it like a sports team. Instead of everyone trying to do everything, each player has a specific position. A clear role. This specialization makes the entire team faster and more effective. Our five verticals are our star players.
- Sourcing: This team is dedicated to building our global inventory of travel products.
- Distribution: This vertical focuses on getting our products to our partners, both wholesale and retail.
- Fintech: We are embedding financial products like travel insurance and payment solutions directly into the travel experience.
- Mobility & Experiences: This goes beyond hotel beds. It encompasses transfers, car hires, and activities to create a complete trip.
- Hoteltech: We provide technology solutions that help hotels digitalize operations and boost direct bookings.
This structure is lean. It is fast. It allows us to dive deep into each domain. We can move with the market. We can serve our customers better.
Leadership Renewal: A Team Built for Execution
A new structure needs a renewed team. We have made key updates to our Senior Management Team to drive this new vision forward. This is not just about new titles. It is about aligning leadership with our vertical strategy.
We are strengthening our team with proven expertise.
- David Amsellem now leads our Distribution vertical. He joins the Senior Management Team. His role expands to cover both wholesale and retail partners.
- Xabi Zabala takes the helm of the Sourcing vertical. He will continue to lead our Operations, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Daniel Nordholm adds leadership of Product, Tech & Data to his role. He continues to guide our Fintech vertical.
- Stephanie Fougou joins us as General Counsel, bringing her expertise to the Senior Management Team.
We extend our deep gratitude to Carlos Muñoz and Paula Felstead for their strong contributions. Carlos will transition to a Senior Advisor role. Paula has decided to pursue new opportunities outside the Group. Their work has been invaluable.
This renewed team is built for one thing: execution.
The Technology Engine: Powering Agility with a Modern Tech Stack
Our new business model runs on a new technological core. We recently undertook a massive transformation. We moved our entire transaction platform to a fully cloud-based, open-source tech stack.
We ditched ten years of technical debt. We moved from an Oracle database and hybrid cloud to PostgreSQL and a full commitment to the cloud. This was a complex journey. Our in-house team did the heavy lifting. The result? A platform built for speed and scale.
The benefits are real.
- Faster Time to Market: We can now develop and launch new products in a third of the time it used to take.
- Unlimited Scalability: Our systems can grow effortlessly to handle over 7.3 billion search requests per day.
- Improved Reliability: Our partners experience less downtime and faster, more accurate results.
This is not just an IT project. It is the backbone of our entire ecosystem. It enables everything we do. It allows us to connect faster. To deliver more. To be a better partner.
The Strategic Goal: A Customer-Centric Travel Ecosystem
Why are we doing all this? The answer is simple. Our customers. The travel industry is complex. We are making it simpler. We are creating a connected ecosystem where everything works together.
Our five verticals are not isolated silos. They are interconnected parts of a whole. A travel agent can source a hotel room, a transfer, an experience, and offer insurance. All in one place. All through a single, frictionless platform.
This is the future of travel distribution. It is seamless. It is efficient. It is focused on creating a better experience for the end traveler. Our new structure and leadership are designed to deliver exactly that.
Looking Ahead: A Foundation for Sustainable Growth
This restructuring is a decisive step. It is not a final destination. It is the foundation for our next chapter of growth. We are embedding artificial intelligence deeper into our operations. We are accelerating automation. We are focused on creating more value for our partners.
Our financial outlook remains strong. We expect to report full-year 2025 results within our guided ranges. Our new operating model is designed to drive sustainable growth across our global travel ecosystem.
The journey continues. We are more focused than ever. We are more agile than ever. We are building the leading B2B TravelTech company for the future. And we are just getting started.
