Limehome has arrived in two of Europe’s most iconic cities. Our first properties in London and Paris are now officially open. This is a major step in our European growth strategy. We are bringing our tech-enabled serviced apartments to these highly competitive markets. Our model is built for modern travelers and property partners. It combines design, technology, and operational efficiency. Let’s look at how we are building a new kind of hospitality presence across the continent.
Our London debut: A new presence in Streatham Hill
Our UK journey begins in South London. The first Limehome property is located in the vibrant area of Streatham Hill. We transformed a unique space. The building previously served as employee rooms for a pub. We converted it into modern, fully furnished design apartments spread across two floors.
Speed was a critical factor. This project moved from signing the contract to welcoming guests in under five months. The property has been operational since early August. This rapid timeline shows our ability to quickly activate real estate. For the United Kingdom, this is just the start. We have identified the UK as a priority growth market. We are actively seeking new projects here. Our focus is on the 30 largest cities. We are looking for properties ranging from 20 to 200 units.
Our Parisian launch: A strong start in the heart of Montmartre
Simultaneously, we entered the French market. Our first Paris property is in the legendary Montmartre district. It’s on Passage Lathuille, a stone’s throw from the Sacré-Cœur. This location was once a traditional hotel. We converted it into 20 modern serviced apartments.
We completed this conversion in just three months. The market response was immediate and overwhelming. The property reached 100% occupancy immediately upon opening in early October. This success proves the strong demand in Paris for alternative accommodation formats. France is a key pillar in our long-term European strategy. We plan to grow significantly across the country over the next 12 to 24 months.
More than openings: A strategic European vision
Entering London and Paris was a deliberate strategic decision. These are Europe’s top two cities for overnight stays. The markets offer strong tourism and business demand. They also have a large supply of underutilized real estate. This is perfect for our conversion model.
Our expansion is not slowing down. We are already preparing for more growth in France. We have two new projects in the Paris metropolitan area. In Suresnes, we will open 25 design apartments in a repurposed office building in autumn 2025. In Versailles, we are launching 19 units in a landmarked property in the historic old town. We are also in active negotiations for properties in other major French cities. This includes Bordeaux, Marseille, and Nice.
The Limehome model: Technology as our foundation
What makes our expansion possible? Our fully digital operating model. We use proprietary technology to run our apartments. This allows for a contactless experience. Guests enjoy digital check-in and check-out. This method creates high guest satisfaction. It also delivers operational efficiency.
Josef Vollmayr, our co-founder and CEO, explains: “We are convinced that digitally enabled hospitality is becoming the industry baseline. The openings in London and Paris show our ambition to deliver guest convenience and operational efficiency in Europe’s most competitive markets. To our partners, we offer to future-proof almost any commercial real estate asset, whether it’s a former hotel, office or neighbourhood pub”.
Building for the future: What’s next for Limehome
Our vision extends beyond two capitals. We are a leading tech-enabled operator in Europe. We now manage over 11,000 apartments and hotel rooms under contract. Our presence spans more than 150 cities in 13 European countries.
The successful launches in London and Paris are proof of our concept. They show we can enter mature, competitive markets and succeed. We are building a new standard for hospitality. One that is flexible, efficient, and designed for the way people travel today. We are just getting started.
We are actively forging partnerships with property owners and investors. Our goal is to bring the Limehome experience to more guests across Europe.
