Oceania Aurelia’s Inaugural World Voyages and Transformation has unveiled all the comprehensive details for Oceania Aurelia’s inaugural season. This marks a major milestone with the launch of two 180-day Around the World voyages in 2028 and 2029, offering dual world cruises simultaneously for the first time ever! The ship, formerly Oceania Nautica, is undergoing a complete transformation under the OceaniaNEXT program and the new shiny vessel will debut in late 2027.

Oceania Aurelia’s Ship Transformation and Design
This ship is being reimagined as Oceania Aurelia, a vessel designed specifically for extended global exploration. The refurbishment includes:

Reduced capacity: So a decrease from 670 to fewer than 500 guests, served by 400 officers and crew to get a near 1:1 crew-to-guest ratio.

179 suites: These suites include remastered Owner’s, Vista, and Penthouse Suites. Not forgetting the new Oceania and Horizon Suites, many exceeding 300 sq ft.

New public spaces: Spaces such as the Founders Bar, Chef’s Studio, The Bakery, and a crêperie are newly introduced.

Enhanced wellness and enrichment offerings, including the LYNC Digital Center and Artist Loft.
The redesign emphasizes on a more residential, club-like ambiance. This positions Oceania Aurelia as “The Ultimate Explorer” for an immersive, long-duration travel.

The ship’s inaugural season begins November 29th, 2027, with a spectacular 7-day Mediterranean Debut all the way from Rome to Trieste, followed by the Oceania Club Reunion Cruise which is from Trieste to Athens, December 6th, 2027. And holiday sailings through January 2028.
