For its second edition, the tournament expands across eight Asia Pacific markets, inviting guests and padel enthusiasts to share in the season’s most vibrant social sport, brought to life with Club Med’s signature spirit of conviviality

SINGAPORE, 19 August 2026: Club Med, the global leader in premium all-inclusive holidays, is raising the game with the return of the Club Med Padel Cup 2026. Following a successful debut, the tournament will take place from July to November 2026 across eight markets: Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan and India. This year, this sporting event has doubled from the year before, bringing an augmented competitive energy across multiple cities with the vibrant social connection and joie de vivre that defines Club Med.

As one of the world’s fastest-growing sports, padel has found a natural home at Club Med, where active discovery and shared moments are part of everyday resort life. With over 75 world-class padel facilities worldwide, the sport is available and easily accessible to players of all levels. From beginners to experts, padel is part of the all-inclusive experience across Club Med resorts in Southeast Asia and the Pacific, including in its resorts in Bintan, Kani and Phuket, as well as at the brand new Club Med Borneo (opening end 2026).

Beyond Southeast Asia and Indian Ocean, padel is also available at the newly opened Club Med South Africa besides others. As the world’s largest sports club, Club Med continues to be the unparalleled champion sport and movement in the premium and luxury hospitality sphere.

Tournament details

National tournaments begin July 2026, with local champions earning their place at the Grand Slam Finale from 30 November to 3 December 2026 at Club Med Phuket. Over five days and four nights, finalists will enjoy a spirited programme of competitive matches, masterclasses and coaching workshops led by professional athletes, all set against the sun-soaked backdrop of one of Club Med’s most beloved beach resorts, Club Med Phuket.

Taking this momentum further, Club Med is proud to be the Official Lifestyle Partner of the Tatler Padel Series, Asia’s first premium padel tournament. The partnership deepens Club Med’s association with padel across the region’s luxury lifestyle circuit, connecting the sport’s growing community with the brand’s distinctive blend of active living, conviviality and premium all-inclusive travel. The 2026 series brings together more than 2,000 players, enthusiasts and members of the Tatler community across seven cities, culminating in a Regional Final in November 2026.

The Tatler Padel Series will travel to Bali, Indonesia (23 to 26 July 2026); Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (8 to 9 and 15 to 16 August 2026); Bangkok, Thailand (22 to 23 August 2026); Singapore (28 to 29 August 2026); Hong Kong (October 2026); Shanghai, Mainland China (October 2026); and Dubai, UAE (October 2026), before wrapping up with the Regional Final in November 2026.
